Musings from the Director

Medea by Euripides, an Ancient Greek Tragedy.

January 22 & 23, 29 & 30, 2016 ; 7 p.m., Olympic Hall.
Based on the myth Jason and Medea; play first produced in 431 A.D. The play differs from many other Greek tragedies in that the form is simple. All scenes involve just two actors, Medea being one of them. The play is a subtle and sympathetic portrayal of Medea’s misguided efforts to control her own life after her husband Jason leaves her for a Greek princess of Corinth.
